Sheffield’s Green Bond is a no-risk investment scheme set up for individuals and businesses to show support for Sheffield’s green environment.
It’s very simple. You put some money in. We plant it in the bank. Over five years the interest on your money grows and we use that interest to look after Sheffield’s green treasures. And the best bit is, after the five years is up you get your money back! With investment starting at as little as £25 and flexible terms for businesses, it’s an easy way to benefit Sheffield and it’s environment.
(Every pound helps, your money won’t be used to pay for admin costs. And we will provide regular updates to let you know what your money is doing).

Over the past decade significant resources have been spent on making these places even better and this has been supported by people investing considerable time and effort at a local level too.
Sheffield’s Green Bond has been established to support local people and groups in their invaluable work; caring for and maintaining the city’s environment; making its rivers cleaner and more accessible and engaging young people in improving their environment too.
